We have proof of everything written on this blog, but given the size of the surveyor report it's hard to publish it on this forum. However the report done by our new plumbers speaks for itself. These are basic plumbing skills that Lee West and his team clearly lack.

Proof of falsified e-mail for sink order from Lee West

Here is the "proof" that Lee West sent us to confirm our sinks were ordered, which they never were. He actually made up this fake e-mail address in order to keep our money, money which we to this date have never been refunded. This has also been reported to the police and has a unique crime reference number. Jacqueline, I recommend you report your money and situation to the police as well. You can do it here at www.actionfraud.police.uk. They were very helpful and have started a file on Mr West, so any additional information would help them (and you).

We called CP Hart and over the phone, they confirmed that they had NEVER taken an order from him for that sink, whether for us or any other customer. As one can see from the document below, CP Hart confirms not employing a person by that name nor recognising the e-mail address.

Lee West's bounced check sent to our Lawyer

Lee West has been ordered by the court to pay our legal costs and we have served him with a statutory demand. He actually couriered over a worthless check to our lawyers.... to do such a thing you really have to be stupid, desperate, or both. Here is the proof of his bounced check.

Blackheath Building Maintenance Ltd (Lee West the worst builder in London) is also trying Youtube as a way of generating business

On YouTube, Blackheath Building Maintenance Ltd has uploaded a video clearly trying to generate business, by showing some nice pictures of various pretty bathrooms (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiX9W1DejDI) . We commented on the video yesterday because we 100% advocate NOT using this guy as he is a fraud, liar and one of the worst builders you will ever encounter.

This blog is already gaining a lot of traction, with over 675 views in the last 2 days. We have been contacted by yet another disgruntled former Lee West customer, and will be publishing that letter soon. Thanks for sharing.

Another person has come forward with her story about scumbag Lee West of Blackheath

Again any more such stories are more than welcome and we are sure a lot more are out there. His last scam was done on 23rd October 2013 at the same time he was about to be declared personally bankrupt by our solicitor. Don't be fooled by his new website (http://www.westpropertyservices.co.uk/index.html) as he is clearly still running a scamming business. Jacqueline even called the references listed on his website before engaging him and they are clearly all bogus.

West Property Services/Blackheath Building Maintenance (Lee West)

We hired Lee West and West Property Services (Blackheath) Ltd (now known as Blackheath Building Maintenance Website) to do some substantial works at our house in Camden - and to this date, that counts as one of the worst decisions we have ever made.

The quality of work was extremely poor, and most of the work was so completely incorrectly installed to the point that it was deemed unsafe by regulatory bodies. We paid for extensive plumbing work to be done, including replacing the boiler and the underfloor heating pipes, and have had to have the whole thing done again. A chartered surveyor said in all his years, he'd never seen underfloor pipes laid so incorrectly. Furthermore, the exit flue was installed dangerously incorrectly and was leaking gas into our roof terrace. Upon reporting this extreme incompetence and negligence to Gas Safe, we found out Lee West and West Property Services were not even registered as legal and authorised installers. This came as a surprise as his website clearly states that he is.

When confronted with any issues, Lee West and his office assistant Jo consistently and constantly lied to us. We paid Lee West nearly £10k for bathroom furniture, which he claimed to order for us from CP Hart. Mr West falsified an e-mail from the company stating that the order was delayed. We discovered this fraud when, after four months and no sign of  the bathroom furniture, we called CP Hart directly - who had never had an order placed, and confirmed that the e-mail was from a fraudulent address. Mr West has refused all of our requests for a refund, and over a year later, we are still out all of the money.

These are two of the worst issues that happened as a result of engaging him (paying for all the malfunctioning and dangerous work to be redone, and his theft of £10k from us) but throughout the process, we were lied to and conned. It was an expensive and terrible experience for us, and we are concerned because as soon as he'd finished stealing our money, Mr West folded his company so that we could not financially pursue him - and turned around and started another company right away. Same services, same scumbag - different name.

Lee West is a liar, a thief, and a thoroughly incompetent builder, and it is only a question of when he will find his next victim. We started this blog because we don't want anyone to suffer as we did, through Mr West. Please comment on your own negative experiences to warn others.
